Takis Nikolaos

 

Dr. Nikolaos Takis has studied psychology in the National University of Athens. He received a scholarship from the Greek state for his post-graduate studies in Clinical psychology. In his doctorate dissertation he studied the adaptation and resilience of immigrant adolescents in Greece. He has many publications and presentations in congresses focusing mainly in the fields of addiction treatment, adjustment of immigrants in Greece, group therapy and psychodrama. He runs in placement since 2000 in the detoxification and rehabilitation unit for adolescent drug users of the Athenian Psychiatric Hospital (18 ANO). He is an assistant professor of Psychology in the American College of Greece since 2010 and Director of the newly established Counseling Center. He is a certified Psychodrama trainer since 2011. He works in private practice since 2000 and runs psychodrama self-awareness and psychotherapeutic groups since 2003. He is also trained in psychoanalysis of groups and he is a candidate psychoanalyst in the Hellenic Psychoanalytical Society. He is a full member of the French Society of Psychoanalytical Group Psychotherapy (S.F.P.P.G.) and the Hellenic Association of Psychoanalytical Group Psychotherapy (Ε.Ε.Ψ.Ψ.Ο.). Since June 2017 he is the president of the Federation of the European Psychodrama Training Organizations (F.E.P.T.O.).
